Peter J. Fitzgerald is a Wealth Planner and Portfolio Consultant at Imperia Wealth Management, where he works closely with clients to develop thoughtful financial plans and support the implementation of disciplined investment strategies. He is committed to helping individuals and families build clarity, confidence, and long-term direction in their financial lives.
Peter joined Imperia Wealth Management after interning with the firm in 2021, earning a full-time role through his strong work ethic, attention to detail, and alignment with the firm’s client-first philosophy. He plays an active role in delivering Imperia’s concierge-level experience, working alongside senior leadership to provide proactive planning and personalized guidance.
Education
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Fordham University’s Gabelli School of Business, where he was a Division I-AA scholarship athlete on the football team and a four-time Academic All-Patriot League honoree. His experience as a student-athlete reflects the discipline, accountability, and teamwork he brings to his professional role. While at Fordham, Peter was also involved in both the Value Investing Club and Alternative Investments Club, further strengthening his foundation in financial markets.
Peter holds his Series 7 and Series 66 licenses and is a registered representative and investment advisor representative with LPL Financial.
Community
Outside of his professional work, Peter has demonstrated a strong commitment to community service. He has volunteered over 100 hours supporting various initiatives, including participation in A Night to Shine through the Tim Tebow Foundation, where he helped create a memorable prom experience for individuals with special needs. He has also been involved in mentoring and inspiring younger students through campus outreach programs.
